Applications For Freshman Representative and Historian
Freshman Representative is a board position open only to students in the Freshman class. Applicants should expect to manage outreach with their class, as well as learn what it is like to be a member of the board. This is a good position for someone who is passionate about drama and looking for a leadership opportunity. Applicants should expect to attend two board meetings per month, as well as drama club meetings. Freshman Representative applicants will need to prepare a short one to two minute speech for our October meeting and will be voted upon.
Historian is a board position open to Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors. Historian's main job will be to take pictures during shows, rehearsals, and other drama events. Applicants should also expect to assist in advertising and collect photos and videos for the end of year slide show. This position will not be elected, instead the board and Sara will select the most qualified applicant. Other applicants may be asked to be Historian helpers and assist in the documentation of events, but they will not have the full responsibilities of the Historian. The expectation is that the Historian will be at all drama events throughout the year, so applicants must be willing to commit a good amount of time to the program.
