Dramafest Guidelines
Dramafest is a festival of ten- to fifteen-minute plays written, directed, and performed by students. Your options for how you may participate in Dramafest depend on your grade level. All participants must be in good standing with the club (dues paid, attending most meetings, etc.). Depending on the number of students who audition and the number of roles available, actors or shows may be cut. Upperclassmen can direct shows on their own or with a co-director, underclassmen must have an 11th or 12th grader to co-direct with.
All scripts will have a director (often the playwright) and can have a co-director working collaboratively. Directors are responsible for securing any necessary props, costume pieces, and scenery they need. They are also responsible for putting those items away properly after the performances.
Performance Dates: May 31st, June 1st
